Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of HaloSway: Voice Upgrade. By using HaloSway, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
The service
HaloSway provides a free onboarding and Potential Voice experience, a purchasable 7-Day Voice Upgrade, and an optional Real-Life Practice subscription. Automated audio, analysis, simulation responses, and feedback may be imperfect. HaloSway is a voice-practice tool, not medical, mental-health, speech-language, legal, employment, or emergency advice, and it does not guarantee a particular outcome.
7-Day Voice Upgrade
The 7-Day Voice Upgrade is a one-time, non-consumable Apple in-app purchase. It unlocks the seven program days permanently for the purchasing account, subject to Apple’s purchase and restore systems. “Seven days” refers to seven program days and does not mean access expires after seven calendar days.
Real-Life Practice subscription
Real-Life Practice is an optional monthly auto-renewable subscription available after genuine completion of Day 7. It provides one assigned eligible simulation per day while the subscription is active. There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under its policies.
If the subscription expires, you keep the 7-Day Voice Upgrade you purchased and existing progress/history, but you cannot start new Real-Life Practice sessions until eligibility is restored. Feature availability can depend on device, network, microphone access, Apple services, and third-party AI services.
Purchases and restoration
Prices are shown using localized App Store information. You may use Restore Purchases to recover eligible ownership or subscription status associated with the Apple Account used for purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
You may use HaloSway for personal practice. You must not misuse the service, attempt to bypass entitlements or daily limits, extract or expose credentials, interfere with other users, reverse engineer protected service components except where law expressly permits, or use simulations to facilitate harassment, coercion, unlawful activity, or harm. Respect another person’s rejection, boundaries, and consent in real life.
Your recordings and content
You retain responsibility for recordings and speech you submit. You grant HaloSway and its service providers the limited permission needed to process that content to operate the features you request. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use. The Privacy Policy explains processing and deletion behavior.
Availability and changes
HaloSway may maintain, secure, improve, or discontinue features and may suspend access when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity. We will not intentionally remove a valid non-consumable purchase entitlement, but continuing operation may depend on Apple, network availability, and the cloud, purchase, and AI processing services used to provide the app.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaloSway is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of guaranteed improvement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular outcome. HaloSway is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service where such limits are permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using HaloSway or use Delete My Data at any time. Access may be suspended for material misuse or legal necessity. Deleting data or ending use does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions through Apple.
Changes to these terms
HaloSway may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
